One of the best Cham books out there for beginners. Chameleon husbandry Information is hard to find in book form. I as one of the above reviewers stated also have all the cham books on husbandry on amazon[.com], and this one is the best. I recommend finding a breeder and talking to them, that is the only way to get the most up to date info on chameleon care.

The Definitive Book on Chameleon Husbandry,

If you are a new chameleon hobbiest owner or are about to take that plunge into chameleon ownership, this is the ONLY book you will need. It covers feeding, caging, care specific to many different and exotic species, and basic medical information as well. The book is well written and covers topics thoroughly. The pictures are superb and the author's personal experience keeping chameleons and other herps is very reassuring and lends to her credibility. I wish I had got this book first, if I had, I would have never bought the deVosjoli or Bartlett books. I spent way more than twice the cost of Davison's book buying 5 or 6 other books about chameleons--all of which have outdated, incorrect and/or incomplete information. I WAS LOOKING FOR THE QUINESSENTIAL BOOK, WRITTEN FOR THE HOBBIEST, ON THE HUSBANDRY (aka CARE) OF CHAMELEONS.....I OWN EVERY ONE OF THE BOOKS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON AMAZON.COM IF YOU DO A SEARCH FOR "CHAMELEON" OR "CHAMELEONS" BUT, I PROMISE YOU, NONE COMPARE TO LINDA DAVISON'S BOOK! SHE HAS GIVEN US A BOOK THAT IS AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET TO FINDING THE PROVERBIAL DEFINITIVE BOOK. P.S. This book saved me and my chameleon. Chameleons are very sensitive creatures in captivity and there is so much to learn about them. I purchased this book and found it gave me the information I needed to keep my little friend alive and healthy.There is so much incorrect information in other books. I have them all. In my oppinion, this is the only one I needed. I could have saved some money if I got this one first.It has all the latest tips and information. Thank you Mrs. Davison for your book. Lana
