I love the Downside Ghost's series and Chasing Magic is yet another gripping and emotionally challenging instalment. Stacia Kane is not afraid to give her character's serious flaws and put them in situations that leave you hanging on the edge of your seat. In my opinion this series is the pinnacle of urban fantasy. It really doesn't get any better than this. If you love urban fantasy, gritty post apocalyptic worlds and character's who have real life issues then the Downside Ghosts series is an absolute must read.

I love these books. I especially love Chess. She is the kind of heroine I can relate to. She is vulnerable and damaged. She is also one of the bravest and honest characters I have come across. I read a lot of Urban Fastasy, this series comes top of my list. Chess and Terrible are an inspiration. For all their darkness this series is about hope and the power of love. Stacia Kane is one gifted author
