4.0 out of 5 stars Most kids like it more than broccoli... I think, Aug 3 2006

This cd is definitely a fun album. If you are a fan of Five Iron and love songs like "I Still Like Larry", "These Are Not My Pants", or "When I Go Out" you will love this cd. Some of the songs, namely "Thea & The Singing Telegram", can be quite annoying but who cares? There are a few lyrically great and serious songs but it is mostly a cd filled with funny b-sides and demos. The band made this cd for their fans near the end of their time together. As a big fan of the band I am very thankful that I bought it but I wouldn't suggest this for someone who hasn't heard Five Iron before. If you haven't, check out "Proof That the Youth Are Revolting" or "The End is Here"

The highlights of this cd are the first couple tracks, that dog food song, and the five iron frenzy streetpunk style song. lol.. That is such an awsome song.. Anyways, if you are just getting into FIF then pick a different album. This is only a good cd for devoted fans of FIF.

4.0 out of 5 stars In the Taste of the Listener, April 22 2004

I've had no prior experience with FIF, but I still like this album. The first dozen or so songs are mediocre, aside from Mind for Treason, which is a fun Conservative rant, and Kamikaze and Rhubard Pie, which were annoying at first but now are two of my favorites. The short "jokes" are all enjoyable interludes in my playlist. There are other good songs after Mind for Treason, including Screams in the Night and Dog Food. If you revel in oddballfullness, you should enjoy this CD.
