My husband is a fan of certain "chicken soup" books, and this one has been added to the list. If you need to be reminded about how great life is, then this book is for you.

HASH(0xa65b5384) out of 5 stars Inspirational and Uplifting! Nov. 16 2009
By Lucky Guy - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Many of these stories are heartfelt and enlightening examples of seeing the bright side or the silver lining in everyday situations. The stories about the woman who had the same kind of car accident as her mother did when her mom and dad were on their honeymoon...suffered similar injuries, all of their hope and love and support for each other and how they all hung in there and came out of it with such a wonderful view of the world and how they learned from their experiences was inspiring to me.

I think there are so many wonderful stories in this book, that I can't really comment on them all, except to say that they are all worth 10 times the price of the book itself. Wonderful lessons for all who are lucky enough to read about them.

HASH(0xa65b53d8) out of 5 stars Great book as usual from these authors Jan. 13 2011

I ordered 4 of these for my co-workers for Christmas. It was an extremely good read and very timely for most people in this economy and with other things that happen to good people that are hard to understand.

HASH(0xa65b56b4) out of 5 stars More gratitude please May 8 2010
By Dr. Gunta M. Caldwell - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
All these stories help to illustrate how little gratitude we all generally practise. Most of us have so much to be grateful for and a book such as this truly brings this home. We who live in a world of material abundance sometimes forget that this is the least important. It helps to centre us again on what really is important.

HASH(0xa65b5498) out of 5 stars It's okay... Dec 23 2012
By Christopher Lund - Published on Amazon.com

Not as good as I hoped for with Jack & Mark... Many of the best stories I already read in other books of theirs. Some stories seemed like filler to me - no real message, but just filling up pages. I was hoping for a bunch more of their best stories - didn't find that to be the case.

I think I read their books in reverse order. They took some of their best chicken soup stories and used them later in other books, which I read before checking out chicken soup book(s).

For those interested in self-help books, I recommend some of their other works: Mastering the Law of Attraction/The Success Principles/The One Minute Millionaire/The Aladdin Factor/The Power of Focus
