This book was required for school and was an excellent book and it is very helpful and useful if you working with special need children or if you want to read it for your own personal self and this book is very important and a great resource working with special needed children or to read and share with your colleges at work. Please do buy and is helpful as well too.

I have used this text (editions 2 through 8) for the past 18 years in our course I have taught. Although I have occasionally used other texts in addition to this one I have never found one that is as comprehensive as an introduction to Special Education in Canada.

Too Much Highlighting! Jan. 13 2014
By Melissa - Published on Amazon.com

Although shipping was quite fast and physically the book is in good shape (no tears or rips). It was supposed to be gently or lightly used, with small amounts of highlighting, which I believe was stated on the website before purchasing it. I was very disappointed when I received the book and it was COVERED in notes and highlights and underlines, from clearly having been passed between several people. I would not have purchased this book had I known the extent of the highlights and notes. It makes this book incredibly difficult to get through.
