This flex cutting board is an invaluable gadget for any cook. I use it every meal. Easy cleanup is the beginning, but ease to bring your chopped onions or shredded cheese to another spot is a real winner. Seems able to stand up to even my hubby's aggressive cutting.

This replaces my previous version which melted on the dishwasher heating element. These flexible mats work great, are very convenient, and take up very little room. I couldn't find this locally so Amazon came through.

Very good mat. High-quality material hasn't warped, even after several runs through the dishwasher. The attractive print remains vivid as well. And of course, the texture of it isn't hard on your knives, either.A couple of things aren't perfect. I'm rating it 4 stars because my ideal mat wouldn't show knife marks, either. However, although this does, they actually just sort of make the print more charming, probably in part because they don't show up as white slashes in it, for example, which would really make the mat look tacky quickly. Instead, they just appear as use marks on the color-intact print. The 4 stars is also because the material isn't particularly skidproof at all. It might be very slightly less likely to skid than the inexpensive mats I've suffered with, but that's probably only because of its marginally heavier weight in comparison. Overall, attractive, durable, and worth the premium---until they make my perfect mat! |
