That about sums it up, "it's OK". I like romantic suspense but I prefer better writing. Divorced mother whose kids didn't like her...ex-husband married to a bimbette...unappreciated lady cop...lover who comes to save the day...partner who doesn't know/understand her. Not much in the way of original plot except the kidnapping of the main character.

The story was interesting enough, and there were some parts that did get a bit exciting, but for the most part it's an OK read. Seemed a bit contrived that the boyfriend, who hadn't been in the picture for very long, seemed to know more and identify with the main character over her own partner she'd been with for years. OK but not great.
