This is the best of the Hanna-Barberra Christmas specials of the 1970's. It does not feature any of "your favorite Hanna-Barberra characters." (Although the voices are familiar) It's a story that stands on its own about a mouse and a dog trying to save Christmas for a little boy who's letter to Santa got lost. The songs are catchy and memorable. So much so that Hanna-Barberra later cannibalized them, reusing them in later specials. Those guys knew how to save a buck.

Most memorable is the melody to the "All at Christmas Time" song. Anyone who went to King's Island amusement park in the 1970's will remember this song (with different words) as the soundtrack to the "Enchanted Voyage" kids ride.

Hanna-Barberra came out with this special which was released in 1972.
I just loved this particular story when i was a kid,and of coarse i'm a kid at heart so i still like it now.
Its about a dog and a mouse who search for Santa to give him a young boy's misplaced Christmas letter.It has some good tunes,i just love it.
Some of the voices sound familiar.
Every year i like to put on my favorite stories to get me into the Christmas spirit.This is one of them, particularly when i'm having my Christmas pudding.

This i one of the best kids christmas story my kids and babysetting kids watched i wish i could get it in dvd for my
grandkids my vhs is old and i dont want to bye a new vhs because everyone has dvds now
