4.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous, Aug 15 2011

This is #26 in Rimmer's Bravo series, and one of the best.

I loved everything about this book. I liked the hero, and really liked the heroine. I liked the various relationships, not just the lead couple, but all their secondary ties. I liked the relationship between the heroine and the hero's mother, and it made sense to me. Because Corinne was not Aleta's daughter, they interacted as equals and were friends, not just family. I liked that the heroine had had such a close and loving relationship with her own mother, that she still talked to her in her head daily, a couple of years after she passed. It made her another character that we, the reader, cared about. And as odd as it may sound, I liked the way the hero and heroine fought with each other; it was so REAL in the She Said (men-are-so-dense) and He Said (woman-complicate-everything) sense.

Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Adventure of Romance through the Holiday season, Nov 26 2009

First off if you don't like sexual scenes described, you can still read this book and enjoy it. The story itself will keep you interested. When Matt has a baby with Corrie, they do not marry but work together as parents raising their daughter for 6 years.
One thing I liked about this book is when Matt's Mom and dad go through a separation for a misunderstanding, because of love they finally get back together. But people don't think about parents going through problems after kids are raised but love can win out.
Corrie has some problems trusting marriage because of her Dad leaving her Mom when she was young. Love doesn't happen overnight and sometimes that is good too.
I was glad that Corrie didn't marry Matt just because he was a good Dad and he felt it was the thing to do. Without love that usually doesn't survive. I am glad she waited until he could really love her.
This is a Christmas celebration worth enjoying at the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Feel Good Christmas Story!, Nov 16 2009

Oh boy another Bravo hero! Matt Bravo and his heroine Corrine have had a 6 year on/off mostly off romance but those years have been easier to live with. Corrine and Matt are the parents of a beautiful 5 year old daughter Kira that they share custody of and a have good friendship, too. Corrine is engaged to a preacher and Matt has had the same society girlfriend for some time but when he brings Kira home on a Sunday night they get to drinking the wine from an earlier wine tasting she had with her staff. Well one thing lead to another and they find themselves in bed together! Of course they forgot to use birth control. They talked about it once they realized they hadn't used a condom but she thought she couldn't get pregnant it was too soon after she had cycled but of course she's was wrong.

Matt would have married Corrine when she found her pregnant with Kira but Corrine wanted more than Matt was able to give but now it's almost 6 years later......What a wonderful love story Corrine & Matt have especially through the holiday season! You can read all the up and downs of their romance, laugh a little, cry a little and enjoy greatly!

Her name is Corrine not Connie like the backcover of the book says! Someone didn't proofread!
