Very touching movie,

First of all, I can't believe a couple of the reviews I just read. This movie was so beautiful and touching that I have watched it at least 20 times. Whoever said it wasn't a tearjerker has no feelings. And the little girl Riley Chitty who played Jeanie at 11 was an adorable and great little actress...what is wrong you people who trashed her? I also loved Reagan Pasternak who played Jeanie as a 22 year old, and Dean MacDermott is one of my favorite actors..just love him. You're a lucky girl Tori Spelling.

Not only does this movie have great actors in it, but it also has a story line that will touch your heart. "A Christmas Visitor" is a story about a family struggling to deal with not only the death of their son who died in action in the Gulf War, but with the possibility of their daughter having brest cancer. The family has not celebrated Christmas ever since their son died because when the news about their son arrived, it was 2 days before Christmas, until a mysterious visitor arrives and tells them what the meaning of Christmas is all about. This movie will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. One minute you'll be overjoyed and the next, your feelings will be crushed by something so overwhelming in the movie. This movie will take you from the edge of your seat, into the lives and hearts of these characters and will show you how they are so devoted to their son that they will even give up a Christmas in order to preserve and keep the memories of their deceased son. This is a tearjerker especially when they show flashbacks of their son and his life, but if you are really into a great movie, I fully recommand it. You won't regret it. This movie will teach you about family and love in the face of ruin and sadness and it will show how love and faith can withstand anything.

I hate to be the person to write a bad review, but this movie was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The actress's and actor's were chosen poorly and the story line was obvious and boring. I spotted a few movie mistakes by the younger actress's and actor's aswell like mispronunciation of some words and things like that. I found it difficult to watch this movie and I was not interesting in it one bit. It was a made for TV movie and was on the hallmark channel, but I have to say it was not good at all.
