And it's not a bad story, but it's a slow start Sept. 15 2015
By Dione Basseri - Published on
I had to listen to this story twice, since the first time, I just wasn't into it. And it's not a bad story, but it's a slow start. We begin with the narrative of an alien creature bringing her family to a new feeding ground, despite knowing she has been struck with their species' worst parasite. Then we transition to a human exploration team, who speculate on the origins of this unexpected creature. And the truth is quite a lot more surprising and disturbing than they could imagine.

So, hard to get into, for me, but it does have an interesting ending. It's suitable sci-fi from the middle age of sci-fi, with humanity exploring space and finding species that mirror our own.
