5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely ensightful for this stepmom, Mar 28 2006

This review is from: Cinderella Revisited: How To Survive Your Stepfamily Without A Fairy Godmothe (Paperback)
Dr. Peter Marshall is very eloquent and knowledgable without being dry. He knows what he's talking about from a professional standpoint working as a child psychologist as well as living in a stepfamily. He makes me chuckle as I can (to some degree) identify with his wife and am finding that I can put what I learn into practice with my stepdaughter and also how I relate to her mother. Stepfamilies deserve to be thought of as just as rich and fulfilling as the nuclear family; not as a patch job. In fact I think we're challenged to work harder and Dr. Marshall is very encouraging while keeping expectations realistic.
