This review is from: Cinderella and the Texas Prince (Paperback)
Trivis Rule was the richest bachelor in Texas. She was a housekeeper with the wrongful title of Thief! His family tradition stated that he must be married before his thirty-fifth birthday. That was only one week away. His mother had two petite blondes ready and willing to marry him. Cindy Ellerbee was sent to Travis Rule's ranch situated in the middle of no where. Travis arrives a few days before his mother and guests. It soon became apparent to Travis that Cindy was the lady he had been waiting for. Now to get rid of his mother's two blondes. How? By testing the two blue bloods on how to cook, mend, and clean! ***DELIGHTFUL! It was fun to watch Travis and Cindy battle it out. Even more fun to watch one of the "blue bloods" get her just deserts!***

My Ideal Prince Charming, July 9 2009

I loved it! The summary in the back of the book doesn't do it justice.
Travis Rule has three problems:
1) He was named Texas's richest bachelor. As a result, he's being bombarded by women who want to marry him for his money.
2) His 35th birthday was coming up. In his family, it's known fact that if a Rule man didn't marry before his 35th birthday, he would remain single forever. As a result, his mother was expecting him to choose and marry the 2 women that she has set him up with.
3) He wants to marry, but he haven't found the One.
What was a guy to do? He went into hiding at his family ranch. There, he meets their new housekeeper, Cindy Ellerbee. For Travis, Cindy might be the One. For Cindy, he was her crazy boss coming on to her. Travis has to find a way to convince Cindy that they were meant to be together, while holding off his mother's matchmaking.
The story is funny and charming. It's been said that guys do fall in love at first sight. And we wonder why they won't say it? This book explains it. We would think they were crazy. Travis is absolutely sweetheart while still being masculine. He would get himself into these predicaments that were meant to convince Cindy that he liked her and in the end, only have the opposite effect. Cindy was a good heroine. She kept him at arm's length for a while and trying to figure out her feelings. The plot was evenly paced with a lot of hilarious scenes. The writing is witty and the characters were developed really well. This is a clean romance with a few close calls and kisses.
A new keeper for me that would put a smile on your face.
