5.0 out of 5 stars sad-sad-sad, but good-good-good!!!! Nov 6 2002

Format:Mass Market Paperback
This book was awsome! It's so touching! Here, "'Cindy...Say good-bye to him...You have to' Tears streaked down Ashleigh's face, but her voice was sure and soothing...Ashleigh knows how I'm feeling, Cindy thought. She knows what it's like to lose your horse. I have to do this. But a knife twisted in her heart as she turned to the beautiful colt...Storm stepped closer and put his head trustingly in Cindy's arms. Cindy hugged him hard one last time, holding his soft neck against her wet face...Cindy heard Storm's last, soft whicker as she left the stall." READ THIS BOOK!!! I cry every single time, and I've read it about 9 times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great! July 2 2002
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This story tell's you about a grey colt named Storm's Ransom, or simply Storm. Cindy McLean has been working with the racehorse ever since he came to Whitebrooke. Storm soon becomes a champion sprinter and is winning races all over the place. After one win, Strom comes home sick. When the vet tells Ashleigh and Mike to put Storm down, will Cindy make the choice to ever have another bond with a horse or will the death of Storm over whelm her?

This is a beautifully written book and is Bentley's best. The story tugs at you heart strings and brought tears to my eyes. It really has a strong plot and is very discriptive. Though Storm was just tossed into the books, you kind of forget that as you read along. It's like Wonder is tossed out the window and Storm is the main horse character. It has the right to be widely read. Five stars
