My Favourite Book of the Series So Far,

I just love the way Mr. Shan can keep a long series like this going and keep each book new and fresh! Mr. Shan does not get into the rut of following a template for each volume like that many other authors of long series. The story this time around involves a side quest. The main story arc flowing through all the books is set aside (mostly) as one of the major characters goes on his own quest and Darren Shan joins him.I loved, loved, loved this volume. Is it possible that volume 10 in a series is my favourite? I think it is. My favourite character, Harkat Mulds, is the focus of this story and just as usual with these books the plot is exciting. The writing is wonderful. The tension builds and the book ends with a surprise twist making one anxious to get the next volume in the series. Thank goodness the series is complete and I don't have to wait a year between books!

The main point of this book was for Harkat Mulds (a little person) to find out his indentity before he died a made a deal with Mr. tiny.I enjoyed this book,the ending has a twist to make you want to keep reading the series!i hope you enjoyed it as much as i did.

YEAH!!!!!!! I've been reading the cirque du freak books for 2 years now. I've read each one three times to make shure I didn't miss anything. I aplaud Darren shann In the book and the writer. Book ten continues the saga obviously and it is mainly about Harkat. He is trying to fing his former soul. I just want to say that his former self is one of Darrens allies but traitors from early on in the series. He was darrens friend but also a traitor to Darren. (...)
