The book "Claiming Macedonia" is one of the best books on contemporary history I have ever read on Macedonia. Authoritative primary sources support completely the author's claims something that other books on Macedonia simply lack. At a time that that well-trained former-ultranationalist turned former-communist turned ultranationalist Slavs have launched a propaganda war against anyone who challenges their "Macedonism" using baseless theories with no legitimate primary sources supporting those theories, the book "Claiming Macedonia" comes out as the only refreshing consequence. The author did an excellent job! I recommend this book to all Political and Social Scientists.

An excellent book. Filled with historical accuracy and not the "propoganda" that has been delivered by the "psuedo-macedonijians" and the state of FYROM. It is about time that a book of this nature has surfaced!!! The slavic ultranationalists need to read this book and understand that falsifying history is not assisting anyone in the Balkans!!!
