He was an original, the essence of a superstar in the 1930's. Clark Gable had an unidentifable charisma that led to him being crowned as "The King".For all his success he was a modest man, when asked what his tombstone should have on it he replied "He was lucky and he knew it" and that is part of the reason why he was popular as long as he was. Full of great photographs and memorable quotes by Gable, this is a must have for Gable fans.
