Product Description

A magical oracle forces the austere Mr. Taggert to fall in love with his capricious student Duncan.

Duncan’s numerous absences caused him to be held back three times. At age 19 his last chance to graduate is in Mr. Taggert’s class. He’s happy to be there since he’s had a crush on the sophisticated disciplinarian for a while. Taggert is shocked when the boy flirts with him. No one’s ever looked at the stern man that way before. At first he thinks Duncan is teasing him, but the boy soon makes his feelings clear.

Taggert isn’t about to have his career destroyed by a lovesick schoolboy—even one as lovely as Duncan. When Duncan prays to the oracle to intervene the flustered teacher is put in an even more compromising situation!

This is one of so many books I have either in manga form, print graphic novel or e-books that I have read from this author. She is brilliant. She comes up with all these worlds, creations, characters, life forms....amazing. This is yet another example of her different thinking. Yes, it is a taboo teacher-student type book, BUT not your ordinary world, time or it would seem not even the same planet. The author throws in enough details that make me think that we are suspended from regular earth thinking. There is an entity that is like their "God" that is not mentioned like each persons different religion. The idea is interesting. I couldn't wait for the next part either. I came to get it the same day it got put up. I do think the cover art makes the teacher look like a pervert and the boy way too young. The information clearly states that he is 19yrs. that boy looks like a 4th grader. Reading the story you don't picture him like that. He is clearly a MAN in his persona and looks and ideas. Read the story. You won't be sorry.

For once, the 5-star rating fits, and all the OMGTHISBOOKISSOGOOD reviews are on point.

The coverart does not do this series justice. It's very enjoyable, and not overly naughty or anything smutty. It is also not your typical teacher/student relationship stuff.

The world is so unique, the end leaves you craving more. The rules of magic and "gods" are intriguing and cleverly implemented. Normal people in a not so normal world, basically. It's very charming.

I highly recommend this one, but have to warn you that you will NOT want to stop with just book 1. Plan on buying both and you'll be left with that warm fuzzy feeling, along with a bittersweet pang of "I wish there were more!" Not a bad feeling to have at all. :)

This was a refreshing tale in that people are mated to each other by a higher being and they dont get to choose, a mate is chosen for them...it can be a woman mated to a man 19 years older or younger than she or in the case of this tale and older man mated to a younger man. The story is really very sweet and nicely written..i have ejoyed many titles by this author and she has yet to disappoint.. loved it..

So I didn't know exactly to expect with this book, but the story is so great. I love the relationship between the charcters and the only thing I see wrong with it is the fact that I would have liked it to be long.

I was gonna give it 4 stars just because I think the ending was inconclusive, but I cannot do it. This story is good, and I say good I mean "GOOOOD!" From the beginning the story is catchy, it's the type of book that you get to the end and don't notice you've been reading for a while. The writer has a lovely way to write, definitively I'm gonna look up more of her work. This is Shounen Ai rather than Yaoi so I highly recommend it for beginners and people who are curious about the boyslove world.
