This review is from: Classical Whodunnits: Murder and Mystery from Ancient Greece and Rome (Paperback)
Classical Whodunnits is a fun, fascinating, and sometimes bloody journey into the ancient world. From gods and goddesses, to Alexander the Great, and through to the fall of Rome, the book covers a range of historical ages, showcases the styles of a wide variety of authors, and introduces some of the most interesting detectives who ever donned sandals. From the politcal whodunnit to the classic locked room scenario, there is something for everyone in this well-edited volume. A highly enjoyable and entertaining read.
