appalling service by amazon canada,

can not review this item as amazon canada did not send and were extremely unhelpful, didnt even follow their own rules, even after endless explaining to them abount 'standard international deliveries, and contacting the Royal mail in the UK. i would advise everyone to cancel their accounts with them and use a better company. my bank at least understood and refunded me the whole amount

An Outstanding Cover of Some Great Songs,

George does a great cover of some of the greatest songs like Hello Darlin and My Best Friend. George has the type of voice that you can listen to over and over again. The one thing I hate is listening to a great song that is totally unrecognisable but you don't have to worry about that on this CD.

The right artist to tackle these Classics!,

George Canyon burst onto the North American scene several years ago on Nashville Star wowing the judges, and the audience, with the first performance of the 2nd season of that talent show by performing an awesome version of "Ring of Fire" - Johnny Cash's classic tune. Right then, viewers knew he was a classic country guy. Now this album lets him remake and pay homage to many of those great songs beginning with that same classic."Ring of Fire" may be the most well known one seeing as he made a video for it that did receive lots of airplay on CMT Canada but it's not the only great song that he did an excellent job on. The very next song is a great remake of "Seven Spanish Angels" followed by the Dukes of Hazzard theme song (a classic for anyone who grew up in the late 70's-early 80's). And finally, someone remade, and did an excellent job on, George Jones' "He Stopped Loving Her Today." I've been wondering for a long time if anyone would ever tackle that iconic classic country song and not only did George do it, he did it very well. "Kiss An Angel Good Morning" and "Hello Darlin'" are outstanding versions too. There's a total of 13 great country classics on this cd redone and remade by one of new country's great classic artists. George Canyon hands down was the right person to tackle these remakes and to pay homage to the great history of country music. Get this cd; trust me, you'll find yourself singing along not knowing that you really did know these songs. And you'll appreciate how George respects the originals.
