Loved these characters!

Olsen's ability to set the stage, build multi-dimensional characters, and create suspense is nothing short of brilliant. His diverse experience with people through his true crime writing obviously comes into play, as he has an exceptional understanding of the twisted mind. I felt like I actually knew these characters; like they were the best and worst of those people I've crossed paths with throughout life.
The twists and turn in Closer than Blood made it nearly impossible to put down; the ending took me by complete surprise. I had such a great time reading it that I was almost sad when it ended. Can't wait for more!

WAAAAAY OVER THE TOP!

I am a True Crime book reader and ordered this book from the Kindle True Crime list on Amazon. However after reading 50 or so pages I felt that I was reading a script for a Lifetime TV movie. This lead me to do further research and discovered that this is a fiction mystery book and is mislabeled on Amazon.
The plot of this book is a combination of Double Indemnity, Dead Ringer and Peyton Place. The character names are something else - Darius, Kendall, Lainie - this author has definitely watched one too many soap operas. After realizing the book is fiction the plot just became more and more absurd and salacious.
In summary - if you are interested in campy read for a rainy Sunday afternoon this book is for you. If you prefer true crime - steer clear.

I can't express enough how much I love this book. I haven't even finished it yet but i could not wait to come on and voice my love. Gregg knocks it out once again. This book is a literal page turner.I simply cannot put it down. Born and raised in Kitsap County this book gives me chills as I read about the places in my own back yard. I absolutely adore Kendall Stark and look forward to reading more books with her as the main character. I love Gregg and am a loyal fan. Keep up the great work!
