I really enjoyed this series. It's light SF, and I would recommend it to fans of early McCaffrey.This volume, however, apparently underwent a major revision at the last moment with two cloudships being edited out, which left some continuity problems between it and Maia's Veil. If you plan to read Orion's Dagger, don't read the preview chapter in Maia's Veil.

Read 1, you'll want to read the rest. Great Sci-fi series. The main character is of Gypsy descent, it was a real eye opener seeing life & space from a Gypsy point of view.
