I purchased this because it contains natural ingredients. When it arrived we tried it on our son one evening when he was really fussy but it didn't seem to work. We tried it again the second time and this time it seemed to make him cry even harder. But the third time we tried it, WOW! he calmed down right away and then fell asleep - not in a drugged way but in a calming way. I gave it 4 stars because the syringe/dropper is a little stiff which caused baby to be alarmed with a sudden big squirt the first couple times I used it which is probably what made him cry. Also because it is messy and will stain clothes if you don't rinse it out right away or use a stain remover - oxi clean is good for this.
