3.0 out of 5 stars Filmography May 31 2012

If you want a complete listing of Firth's films, costars, directors, etc you might find this book interesting. If you're looking for anything personal, intimate, or that hasn't already been published on the Internet and approved by PR firm or something, this book isn't it. Bore-city even if writing okay.

1.0 out of 5 stars Badly written Jan. 13 2012

This is a dreadful book. It is poorly written, jumps all over the place. Also be aware that the author apparently does not like Colin Firth. Avoid. Thank goodness I only paid 99c for this... and it's not even worth that much.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a Read! April 10 2012

You think you know Colin Firth through his regal mannerisms and eloquent way of self-expression. However, if you haven't read The Man Who Would Be King, you will never know the real Colin Firth. Monetti's interpretation of Firth's roots and the detailed descriptions of his most intriguing ordeals bring the actor's journey to life and you will leave the pages of this book feeling as if Firth is an old friend. Monetti's work is to be commended, and I recommend this read to anyone and everyone!
1.0 out of 5 stars Lovley Subject..Shame about the author July 12 2014

This book was so obvisouly written with no real insight in Colin Firth. The grammer, punctuation etc showed very poor editing. I dont think the writer has ever spoken to Colin Firth.Looks like a compilation of press cuttings turned a "biography". Very dissapointing.>

This was a very interesting book. I had not known much about Colin Firth other than enjoying his movies. Very educational.
