The organization of the chapters is excellent. Beginning the chapters with topic explanations, then giving examples of each topic is of great help to both the instructor and students.
It is an impressive text - well-conceived and put together into a cohesive package. I very much like the straight-forward, no frills approach of the text. In addition, the examples in the chapters are well done. The end-of-chapter material is also very good - good planning and very good execution.
Overall, I find this a well prepared text. It provides clear explanations and many detailed figures which emphasize a logical, step-by-step approach to learning accounting. It is neither too difficult nor too easy, striking a balance that satisfies the needs of both accounting and non-accounting majors.

I was told this book had some writing and highlighting, yet when it got here (very quickly by the way on shipping) it had more than SOME! Every page in the first 15 chapters are highlighted and there are to many notes in it to mention. I am very displeased, i feel I WAS LIED TO - I BOUGHT THIS BOOK FROM-Kate 12888, AND I WILL NEVER TRUST HER AGAIN, PEOPLE SHOULD BE HONEST WHEN MAKING A BUSINESS DEAL- INCLUDING SELLING BOOKS!!! I WOULD NEVER HAVE MISLEAD SOMEONE OVER A TEXTBOOK! THIS I FIND TO BE CHILDISH- AND SELF CENTERED! ALTHOUGH I WILL NOW HAVE TO USE THIS BOOK- I COULD HAVE BOUGHT A CLEAN NEW ONE FOR $10.00 MORE!!!! If you are taking Accounting 1 and 2 only buy this book. Both books are in this one. No one told me to buy this book instead of the Acct. 1 book. So I bought 2 different books which was more money. I had just went by the ISBN # on Accounting 1.
(NOT AMAZON'S FAULT). I thought I would give a heads up to some of you wanting to take Acct. 1 and 2 Amazon is great!

The book was really in good condition. And for that price i mean come on.. THe new edition is just a rip off...noting much than that... NO wonder why we r on recession. So, i will recocmmend everyone to buy this edition instead of a new one...Abt the seller, THe product came quick than i expected. Was a good deal.
