From Library Journal
Well known in England as a children's knitwear designer, Mellor speaks to the needs of young mothers who wish to knit something special for their children but at the same time would like something exciting and colorful to wear themselves. The result is not your standard look-alike "mother-child" outfits. She will use, for instance, the same yarns to create a stripped moss-stitch sweater for the son and a Kelim jacket for his mother. Although some knitted hats are included, most of the designs are for intarsia sweaters. Each design is pictured in full-color photographs and is fully charted. Primarily for the experienced knitter; recommended for public libraries.
