for beginners,
This review is from: Coloring Techniques for Card Making (Paperback)
I was disappointed by this book. It does cover a bit of watercolor, some Copic coloring and a tiny bit of alcohol ink but it's more like a summary, a "aperçu" (2-3 pages max each). I was expecting much more techniques and there was too much card to redo/recopy. I'm not interest in reproducing (blogues and the such are enough for inspiration). I do not recommended it.

This book is 99% showing card compilations and 1% instruction. You would be far ahead to watch a youtube demo.

I like to make Home Made Greeting Cards and like to use digital prints that I color myself. I thought this book would give lots of information on coloring and blending colors but it doesn't give much info on HOW to blend. Would not have ordered if I had known this.

Not what I hoped for but ok..,

This review is from: Coloring Techniques for Card Making (Paperback)
I'm an avid cardmaker, I've been making cards for over 15 years now and I'm always looking for information to improve my creations. I'd hoped that this book would go into detail about the actual use of the mediums it covers, but that isn't really the case. It's more about creating a specific item using the supplies suggested. I was looking for something that would help me get more out of the products that I'm already using. This book would be wonderful for someone just starting out, but I wouldn't suggest it for someone who has been using these mediums for any real length of time. The samples are nice, the pictures are clear and the directions are easy to read and follow.
