After inheriting the family real estate business, Matthew Russell travels to the town of Salem, Mass. from Boston to see about listing a new property with a “Bizarre History.” On entering a lower portion of the home, Matt begins hearing chanting while suddenly becoming disorientated to his surroundings. Waking hours later, he finds himself centuries back: in the year 1685. Eventually, he becomes attached to his newfound family and friends while learning to cope with life in the seventeenth century. Matt falls in love, and takes on his own home and land and begins his family in Salem. Months later a chain of terrible events takes place, forcing Matthew to leave everything he worked so hard for, and return back to his own time. However, with the help of his sister, he finds out that things were really not as they originally seemed, in 1686, and he must return.

A Very good story

Not because I know the author...but because the story itself is Great! I found myself, like with any other good book in my past, that I couldn't put it down untill I finished it to the very last.. I give this book two thumbs way up.... and not because the author is my boss....but its because the story is so warm and inchanting, and the story itself seemed to wrap me up...and I enjoyed it because it made me feel....

Come back, by freshman author Donna Shook, is a suspenseful read, even if it isn't described that way. Matthew Russel is drawn into a situation where he makes a decision, then finds out that things weren't wuite the way that they seemed.
I felt that this was a wonderful work, and look to see more from her in the future!
