Energize Your Soul,
By Kelly K. Dunn "quadzero" (the Heartland of the United States of America) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Come Heal This Land: Live Wors (Audio CD)
I first saw Robin Mark at Willow Ceek and was instantly taken by his leadership in praising the Lord. "Come Heal This Land: Live Worship From Northern Ireland", is my first Robin Mark purchase, I assure you it will not be my last! This project will energize your soul as you get lost in its great music. Do yourself a great favor and buy two copies, one for yourself and another for a hurting brother or sister who needs healing in their own soul! -- K. K. Dunn, Kansas City

Come Heal This Land is Another Winner!,

This review is from: Come Heal This Land: Live Wors (Audio CD)
We truly enjoyed Robin Mark's long awaited sequel. While you may find that you cannot sing along as readily as you did with Revival in Belfast, it is simply because the songs are ones you are probably not as familiar with in your Church services. But, listen a couple times and you will find yourself singing along and worshiping the Lord. A good addition to our worship CD collection!

Just can't live up to 'Revival In Belfast',

This review is from: Come Heal This Land: Live Worship From Northern Ireland Featuring Robin Mark (Audio CD)
Irish worship leader Robin Mark made his mark with Revival In Belfast, a joyous, passionate live album of brilliant songs that has rightly been a best-seller. Perhaps he was rushed to record a sequel, because Come Heal This Land simply doesn't have the same high level of songwriting - there just aren't as many sing-along classics. There's nothing here that connected with me the way 'Be Unto Your Name' or 'Days Of Elijah' did on Revival In Belfast. As well, the production is such that the choir can't be heard as easily and Mark's acoustic guitar is sometimes drowned under the drums and electric guitars. Finally, the audience isn't as "into" the show as it was on Revival In Belfast...or if it was, the production pushed the audience down into the mix. And I think that affected Mark himself, because his comments just don't seem as passionate or spontaneous. Maybe he was aware of the pressure to follow up his previous classic. I'm not saying this isn't a good recording...it just hasn't brought me into a worshipful place with the Father the way Mark's previous recording does
