This is yet another weak, unfunny dvd with gay stand up comedians. If their stories were in fact funny instead of being contrite, swarmy and very stupid then it would be alright. However since they have picked stereo types, e.g., the drag queen, the trucker lesbian and the token black person it becomes painfully obvious how contrite and forced everything is. It is also insulting yo your intelligence and the jokes reach are bland, unispirred and right down shoddy. Stay away from this sh*tty production.

(Contrary to the current listing on Amazon, this DVD was actually released December 4th.)

Seven "out" gay comedians are featured in a June 2003 concert in Santa Monica CA, telling their personal and friends' "coming out" stories. Featured are Rene Hicks, Dan ("Real World - Miami") Renzi, Bob Smith, Terry Sweeney, John Riggi, Sabrina Matthews and Jackie Beat. Production quality is above average for comedy compilations, though I've heard better material from most of the comics involved. Probably best suited for a group dealing with coming out issues.
