Each listing includes basic planting instructions, such as spacing, seed depth, and days needed to reach maturity. There are tips for growing each vegetable, as well as a chapter on getting started, which includes data on planning, soil requirements, starting with seeds, and container gardening. Another chapter covers pest and disease control. This comprehensive guide includes more than 100 color photographs by Adams. George Cohen
