I purchased this book thinking that it would focus on how to communicate effectively with our patients. However, it is more about how to solve conflicts with our staff. I would resume this book as:
1- Tell your staff member what happened.
2- Tell them how you feel about it.
3- Suggest a solution or a way they could have handled the situation more appropriatly.
I think the way you solve conflicts in a dental office depends on your personnality and common sense.
