About the Author

Jane Holcombe, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCT, MCSE, CNA, CTT+, is a pioneer in the field of PC training. She co-founded a Minnesota training company and has trained technical support personnel nationally for more than 20 years. Jane has developed numerous technical training courses, including one of the earliest PC operating system and hardware courses for support technicians. She is a past President of the Twin Cities PC User Group and has led general sessions at both local and national conferences.

Charles Holcombe, CompTIA A+, has been an independent trainer and consultant for the past 26 years. He has developed and delivered many training courses in addition to authoring several books.

Michael Pastore, MA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCP, has been writing computer books for more than 15 years and has been involved in IT for more than 30 in roles spanning from network technician to president of an IT training school. He is a regular contributor to Computerworld and is a columnist for Leap-it.com. He is also a faculty member at several IT institutes, including the University of Phoenix and DeVry University.

This book set is well worth the money that you spend.

You have a book that is full of knowledge and it gives you lots of practice questions too. The Practice Exams Book is good also as well as the CD-ROM that comes with it too! I would recommend this to people that want to get certified!!!!

Great A+ Study Guide and Exam question book. I use both of them as a resource in my A+ course. I also used the CD as well. Love the simulation of Windows XP and the flashcards on the CD as well I use it as a review tool.
