1.0 out of 5 stars Find other resources Dec 17 2012
By James P Gyarmathy Jr - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This lab manual is not practical for use in preparing for the Network+ exam. The amount of equipment that it requires would not be feasible from most user's perspectives AND trying to decipher WHAT you need to purchase is extremely difficult. Page xx details the recommended items but is cryptic at best. Recommendations to the author:
1. Add a simple list of items to purchase. For example
a. 2 Computers w/ these specs
b. 3 Routers w/ these specs
c. Etc.
2. Identify the labs that will not be able to be completed without certain equipment (e.g., MAU)
3. Provide alternatives for simulating labs with different equipment
4. Ensure that all equipment requirements that are mentioned throughout the book are included in the equipment purchase specs (e.g., 802.11q)
