Book Description

Nov. 10 2008 1607030799 978-1607030799
An earlier title of this book was Poetry for Love and Peace, because what’s inside the book is all about love among people and peace for the world. For the author, what is worth saying is what she really feels in her heart and what her mind thinks is right. It shows in her poem “Believe.” The poems stress having compassion.

The last fourteen poems are inspired by love emails from the author’s penpal, Arzi, the man she never met. The words he wrote came from the core of his heart, all too good to be wasted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Review of "Compassion and Consideration" by Tri Sumarti Soetarman July 3 2013
By Elizabeth - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
"Compassion and Consideration" by Tri Sumarti Soetarman is a book filled with wonderful poems by a beautiful, gentle lady. Some poems are happy, there are love poems and some are sad. Each one comes deep from her heart and soul. There are poems that will touch you and make you smile and some that might put a tear in your eye, like "Through the Window". This is a poem she wrote about her time in the ICU after she was hit by a car. The poem "It's Good To Be Alive" has some very good advice. "Love is..." is another favorite of mine. The poem tells how rare a gift real love can be. The poem "Lies" has so much truth to it. "Lies" says it all. "Sad" can really speak to you. We are all sad at some point in our lives and want to discover that peace that can make us feel better. "Be Greatful" is so true for everyone. We should all be greatful for what we have. "Need No Reason", tells of how we can fall deeply in love at any time without even expecting it. "Believe tells us that with faith, even though we cannot see God, He is there, if we only just Believe. "Friend is a very powerful poem on what a friend should be. A true friend should be there for you and you should be there for your friend. "Summer in San Jose" is a nice poem about a summer's day in San Jose. I also live in San Jose and there are so many things to see and do in San Jose. These are just a few of the poems and my particular favorites. There are many more poems to enjoy and reflect on in Tri's book. You can read it all at once or sit and read a few at a time and contemplate them. I very highly recommend Tri's book! "Compassion and Consideration" is most definitely "my cup of tea"!
