It was extremely frustrating to buy this book and find every recipe fill the gluten gap with sugar and butter.

I'd recommend a whole foods cookbook instead.

Bought it, opened it, was disappointed, haven't used it.

So what? Heather and Donna were right there with the cookbook to help out those diagnosed people! There cookies were just awesome and fit right into parties - I served one set of their cookies at a large party I catered once and never again as an associate had a lactose and egg allergy and was she pleased to get them all to herself! Sometimes the lactose and egg allergies move along after a few years, however this is a great book to have a round expecially if you have kids and their friends over as these allergies are becoming more prevelant outside of CD also.

Of all the gluten-free cook books out there, I found this one to be particularly amazing. Also contains lactose free recipes ! I've tried most of the recipes of this book and I'm not disappointed. A ''must have'' for gluten intolerant people.
