AMERICA classic music for real people,
By
This review is from: Complete Greatest Hits, the (Audio CD)
AMERICA has some of the most soothing & also some of the most energy creating music on earth. Sort of in a quiet way their music can fill you up if you allow yourelf to get lost in a full LP. Their lyrics are both heartfelt as well as soulful. They have done almost 20 LP's/CD's of original material, you really have to listen to some of their newer material. They are still touring & going stronger than ever. They did release a Christmas CD, HOLIDAY HARMONY last year. It is amazing ! This greatest hits is a great representation of some of their finest work.

Very Good Greatest Hits CD,

This review is from: Complete Greatest Hits, the (Audio CD)
It's about time when they would release the best hits of America ranging from the early 70's to the early 80's on one single disc and we get to hear two brand new unreleased tracks and they're one of the best groups of the 70's due to a wide diversity of music ranging from folk rock, soft rock and pop rock, if you're a new fan of America, then this CD is an excellent choice for you and the booklet is very informative and interesting, I had no idea that Dan Peek left the group in 1977 until I bought this CD 2 years ago, no fan of 70's music should be without this CD, even the ones on a small budget.

This was the 70's Music at it's Most fun,

America was a great under-rated band. The quality of this remastering is quite good. For those of you looking for great 1970's California pop music it doesn't get much better. George Martin (The Beatles Producer) assisted them in creating pop masterpieces.
