One of the best women's health books I have ever come across, this book covers everything from preventing breast cancer through diet and lifestyle, to explaining the different breast cancer detection methods in detail, and also the treatment options. There is much more information than just that, and it is all well researched, shared in lay-person terms, and never comes across as preachy. I feel that every woman, regardless of age or state of health, should read this book so we can all be as informed as possible, and take the necessary steps to being healthy. Breast cancer is certainly not disappearing any time soon, and there is so much more that each of us can do than just running in an annual race or wearing pink; this book is a great place to start. Look after your own body and it will look after you.
