About the Author
Margaret Hubert designs for yarn companies and book and magazine publishers including Crochet, Interweave Press, Quick and Easy Crochet, Crochet Fantasy, and Belle Armoire. A world traveler, Margaret pays close attention to the fashions in Europe and spots style trends as they hit New York. She is equally as passionate about knitting and crochet, and can design patterns for either, in any size or shape. Among her specialties, she is a master at free-form crochet. I absolutely love this book. The full colour pictures are fantastic, clear concise explanations are given for each stitch and there's a chart for each stitch to help you figure it out if you're having trouble. I've been crocheting almost 20 years, and I still managed to find stitches in this book that are new to me. I love being able to refer to it when I come across a new stitch in a pattern that I've never tried. It doesn't include a lot of projects, but if you are looking for a guide or reference for crochet this is the book, it covers not only the basics up to advanced, but also lesser known forms of crochet like tunisian and broomstick lace. I also love how it has a brief history of crochet at the beginning. I highly recommend it!

This book would have gotten a 5 but the settup for the ebook is not as easy as some I have bought. The pictures are great and the explanations easy to understand. A great book for novice or expert crocheter.
