Just received the book and it is what it intented to be, ideas but with lot of explanations and how-to-do. The pictures are very sharp too.

Save Your Money,
By Peggy Juliann "For the Voiceless" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Complete Photo Guide to Window Treatments, 2nd Edition (Paperback)
While the photos are well done and display some lovely ideas for window treatments, there is nothing one cannot find in a good Window magazine that would cost $5 or $6 as opposed to the $25 price of this book. What is worse is that the instructions are less than detailed so if one has little sewing experience with window treatments one would be lost or at least left hanging and have to struggle to figure out for themselves how to complete the work. If you are looking for "HOW TO MAKE WINDOW" treatments, as opposed to simply visual pictures of treatments, there are far better and in-depth "HOW TO ..." books on this subject on the market. My advice, is take a pass on this one or at least check it out thoroughly at your library or bookstore before buying.

This book is beautifully illustrated. It is technically explained, yet easy to follow. I would consider this book a must for every seamstress wanting to construct professional looking window treatments.
