I have been using this training log for many years beginning with the James Fixx version from the early 1980's through the John Jerome version from the mid 1980's. The current Marty Jerome version is great, it keeps things simple and follows a well established formula. I will continue to use this log for many years to come. It is in my view the best training log available.

My wife has been running for over 25 years and has always used this log. She likes the way it is organized and the size of the log book is perfect.

Reliable and useful Dec 17 2011
By W. J. Michaeal Cody - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Spiral-bound Verified Purchase
I first bought this running diary in 1977 when it was published by Marty Jerome's father and have used it daily each year since. I have been running for 57 years and have logged over 80,000 miles and the diary with its information and helpful format has helped me avoid injuries and chart my progress. At age 75 I hope to use it for another 25 years and look forward to its continued publication. I highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to improve and enjoy their running.

More than a runners journal Nov. 22 2011
By Mark C - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Spiral-bound
My wife, who's a runner, introduced me to this journal over 10 years ago and I can't imagine a year without one.
The quality of the journal is excellent - heavy paper stock that holds up through the year.
It's designed very well to track your weekly and monthly activity.
I'm a cyclist and even with using a Garmin and downloading my rides it's nice to write in a journal.
Finally this journal isn't just for tracking your workouts. There's space to keep a daily personal journal.

Poor Quality. Pages Have Fallen Out Dec 22 2011
By CJConnor - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Spiral-bound Verified Purchase
I purchased this particular Runners log, because I ordered it in the past and loved it. However this time around, where was the Quality Control? Many pages fell out of the pages because the spiral bound pages were not punched out properly. Don't you guys check this stuff before it gets shipped out? Other than that the log is good. The content and area for writing is sufficient.

This is the best runner's log I have ever seen. I have purchased and used every one going back to the first which was published in 1979. Highly recommended.

Runner's Day-By-Day Log March 13 2012
By DIDIT - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Spiral-bound Verified Purchase
Used this log for years and quit for a few years when I got my Garmin but missed all the data/info I can put in the log. The log is well organized, has a place to record races, glance at an entire month and year. You can record where, time, weather, how you fell, who you ran with, etc. Have missed my old recording friend and will continue to get one each year. Compact and easy to travel with.
