Let's be honest. Any scholar of music which is studying 20th-century composition is the type of academic who already has access to a vast music library fill with interesting material. This compilation isn't necessary.At best, this is a good used book for a pianist who wants some cheap Debussy material or a full copy of Elliot Carter's Piano Sonata.
