5.0 out of 5 stars This is a masterpiece, Nov 7 2008
By T. Muller "urologydude" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Comprehensive Urology (Hardcover)
Contrary to many bigger books on the market, this one is doable. Its 30+ chapters are 30-45 minutes to read each. The illustrations are superb and the whole book clearly was designed with the specialist-in-training in mind. It offers in-depth treatment on many basic science subjects, including nuclear medicine studies, and makes excellent use of illustrations and non-obtrusive references. It is unsuitable for the lay man, who might be better of with Smith's, and invaluable to the tired resident. The book is hard-cover, Smith-bound and has non-glossy paper for all the night students. Total time to really study probably 30-40 hours. I read it multiple times. If only they would reprint or better yet make a second edition.....
