I bought this unit to replace my satellite receiver. To watch Neyflix for movies, Access the web for news and watch documentaries, . . . .
My beef is not so much the actual unit itself but what you can use it for. It performs like a tablet or smartphone, it does it well, its small. The problems i have wit it is the distance or interference form the TV make the use of a remote keyboard just marginal from the comfort of the sofa, I have to lean forward often to get the keyboard connection. The next and biggest problem is attaching the hard drive, it work well and reads the date and plays videos as expected. I just cant access the hard drive from the web to add more videos to it. So i have to unplug from the Kagu, plug in to PC, copy files, eject HD from PC, plug back into Kagu.
And the power on and off, you can select to power it off but how to you power it back on??? I have to power cycle it, that means digging behind the TV to find the power cable.
It is NOT a PC replacement mainly because it works like a tablet, and Android. I would rather have a Linux version of this unit of it exists. But for $70, its not a total loss.

This could be an amazing device that transform your TV into a giant Android tablet. It does everything: e-mail, web browsing, web content streaming and you can install virtually any application available in Google play. It would be perfect if the Wi-Fi was working properly... Even with a router situated less than 20 feet away, the signal is weak and you just loose connection every 5 minutes or so. Without Wi-Fi, this device is pretty useless. Great idea and design but still need improvement.

Lots of power. The problem with small computing devices is that attaching peripherals to it (Flash drive, hdmi, usb wirless ...) makes the thing look like an octopus.

Sometimes smaller isn't always better.

Excellent device however. Lots of horsepower. Does exactly as claimed. Use of a 'gyroscope' style mouse is highly recommend
