Good, but not perfect, Jan 27 2012

This review is from: Deep Concealment shoulder holster #234 White-X LARGE 45"-50"-RIGHT HAND - Comes with Cool Max material to minimize sweat - Fits small to medium frame semi-autos and revolvers up to 7 inches overall length (Misc.)
I read somewhere in a concealed carry article that at one time people made their own holsters and now there is no need to make one, but you will modify most. That is true of this one. The shoulder straps were useless to me and I removed them. They didn't help hold the gun more securely to my body nor did they help distribute the weight. Plus, they actually "printed" on the front of my shirt where they attached to the band.
Otherwise this is a good carry option. I really like how it securely holds two mags. One of the best of the band styles that I have found.
The holster part is sturdy and holds the gun securely even without the included strap. It has a slight angle to the holster which is great for drawing, but causes a larger gun to print more under the arm than a true vertical cant would. You have to wear a really loose shirt or a jacket over this for best concealment if you carry a medium frame or larger handgun. My Sig P250 is fine with a loose fitting shirt, but just barely. Of course a smaller gun like an LC9 or similar would be perfect in this type carry.
All in all, for the price, this is a good holster and conceals well with the right conditions.
Added comment: I have since picked up an LC9 and this is perfect for a smaller gun like that. I really like the secure 2 mag pouches. This works great under the arms or inside the waistband.
