I am impressed with the tone of the text, and the level of writing. On the whole, I am very impressed with the breadth of technical information in a relatively small text. Moreover, I am really impressed with the “Product Oriented Communication” section. That chapter is very unique, and is one that I could really use in my advanced writing courses…the authors compressed the length of the book without compromising important detail. Also, the great aspect of the text is how well it took the communication theory and placed it in some meaningful context to which technology students could relate.
