The Confessions of A Divorced Kid audio tape is a wonderfully EXPANDED version of the children's book. Instead of delightful illustrations, the tape offers many varied, child-friendly, recognizable sounds ranging from those of nature to the ring of a telephone. Divorce is talked about in a matter-of-fact, mainly child's point-of-view, way. Things that are given up, things that are gained, feelings of guilt, moving away, when dad's not there, new friends, are only a few of the topics covered in this straight-forward, yet wonderfully upbeat telling of life going on. It will bring comfort and hope to both you and your children, facilitating an easy way to start your own family's story. I think it is exceptional.
