I admit it. I break Anna Maria Prezio's #1 rule rule for busting ghosts (you'll have to read the book to learn what that is!). Still, I'm a fan of feng shui. I have running, bubbling water in a huge horse trough at my front door and if that isn't dedication I don't know what is.Considering my interest in feng shui, I still found new ideas, even new basics in this book. And all were explained clearly. I especially like that Prezio separated black hat feng shui from the rest and so puts people on alert that if they are going to hire a practitioner they should be certain of his or her training, mentors and practice. I also liked that she included the Chinese zodiac and that she acknowledged that one's intuition should be honored. Feng shui, after all, is not a one size fits all remedy.

Dr. Anna Maria Prezio, author of Confessions of a Feng Shui Ghost Buster, has this natural and easy manner of introducing herself and her family to you. She pulls us right into her natural world of seeing our living environments as being rich with opportunities for joy or grief. She describes, using an easy recipe format, how to assess your living environment and clear whatever is disturbing your harmony. Dr. Prezio explains how to create a loving and spacious surrounding that enhances physical, emotional, psychological, and relationship health. I have used several of her remedies in my own home; and friends enter stating that my living environment feels livelier, fresher and more intimate. If you want to learn more about how to empower your place into a sweet, peaceful, and harmonious setting-- this book is a must read. It is also a superb gift for those you wish to support to joyously empower themselves and their living environments. Thank-you Dr. Prezio.

But, now that I know shades are lurking in every nook and cranny of my home trying to find a way back onto this vale of tears I'm glad I got one. $19.95 is a small price to pay to know how to de-clutter your mind and space so that unwanted house ghosts don't get too comfortable. Anna Maria Prezio has done a fine job breaking down a complicated 4,000-year-old pseudo-science into terms the average person can understand. She provides a definition of common terms, explains symbols, and gives a quick run down of the principals of Feng Shui then follows up with nuts and bolts techniques that should work. Still, if I hear too much rattling around in my attic, I'll just give Anna Maria a call. Even though I don't believe ghosts are that interested in me, you can never under estimate the power of a celestial being in love with life.
