"The textbook has a long history of being used as an instructional tool to teach construction methods and materials. The text has just been revised to include new materials to aid the educator in preparing students for a vast array of construction related professions."

"This book works well as introductory book for trade or college students and equally good resource for working professionals and researchers."

This review is from: Construction Materials, Methods and Techniques: Building for a Sustainable Future (Hardcover)
This book is great, it gives the information on common construction practices. However, the book is more focused on residential and commercial buildings, it doesn't go into detail on Civil works, such as drains, roads or tunnels. Still a fantastic read though for the basics.
