This is a good introduction go Garbo b/c a lot of the interviews came so late in here life, when she was out of the spotlight, so she provides good insights into who she is. That being said, it's not a long read, and while there's some background, since it's a short book (304 pages), a lot is glossed over. That being said, b/c I read this, I've purchased two other biographies on here that I'm going to read and enjoy. If the price is right I'd buy this book as a good intro to Greta.

CONVERSATIONS WITH GRETA GARBO:
is a beautiful book about the timeless legend! The pictures r that of amazeing & her personal letters r here for us to read! The book is written by a great friend of Garbos SVEN BROMAN n she knew he was going to publish all this and gave him his blessings n only requested that it's only be published after she passes away which he honorably and respectably did.. This book is done so classy without all the Hoop Dee La ! Greta obviously has a great since of humor n wittyness n very brillant without being aware of it! Which is the magic and legend of Garbo ! Reading her letters I can literally here her voice with her accent n see her sitting in a big chair dressed normally in pants n turtleneck blue shirt with her big sun glasses :) ne Garbo fan knows this picture of her taken of her in her later yrs :) I love this book!! And the book came in GRETA :) lolol oops I mean GREAT CONDITION former libary book, and ab. no marks no folded pages the book is beautiful THE DELIVERY WAS/IS A LITTLE/VERY SLOW.THINGS I ORDERED(DAYS) AFTER ORDERING THIS BOOK CAME WAY BEFORE THIS BOOK CAME :( BUT.GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT..I JUST WISH I DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG :(
